There is no shortage of jobs in regional Victoria and many opportunities across a range of industries as the regions share in the State’s employment boom.

A positive culture and an enthusiasm for its product, people and community form the backbone of Nhill's Luv-a-Duck success.

The availability of jobs is partly due to the strength of the regional economy. Regional Victoria is growing at a greater rate than any of Australia’s other regional areas.

From July 1, the Government will introduce new measures to boost regional jobs growth even further. These include reducing the payroll tax rate by 25 per cent for all businesses operating mostly in regional Victoria, making it the lowest rate in the country.

This will cut costs for about 4000 businesses, help regional companies grow, encourage job creation, and ensure every region shares in the benefits of the state’s economic growth.

Like anywhere, job types and availability vary from region to region, city to city, town to town.
